Ealing Institute of Media sent eight talented students on a visit to the exciting city of Berlin, for three weeks of work experience - where they worked with media professionals in the areas of film and graphic design.

The students were based in East Berlin and lived in a hostel where they met many challenges included living together, cooking and being away from home for the first time. While in Berlin they explored the culture of the city and visited many sites of historical significance including the Berlin wall and the Jewish memorial.

The trip was organised by Embrace in conjunction with a German charity, Kids and Co. It was financed by the Leonardo Da Vinci fund.
