“I have now had a full 24 hours with the people from my college who are on the Germany trip. Berlin has loads to explore and we plan to see as much of it as we can. Today we went to see the Berlin wall, which was amazing but we did so much walking by the end of the day I was really tired and really wanted a lovely hot bath. At first, I was very nervous about coming to Germany, but the people from Kids and Co were very friendly and welcoming. Germany is so much cleaner than England and I think that British people should be ashamed. By the end of this trip I think I could migrate to Germany for 6 months because their living conditions and culture is much better than England.”     

“The day has finally come when I get to visit the amazing city of Berlin! The day started off with a group meeting and it wasn’t long before we all had our back packs ready and sight seeing was well underway.  As I personally wanted to go shopping, I was still taken aback by the graffiti on the Berlin wall and the view from the TV tower. The one thing that amazes me is that the streets are so clean and there isn’t any litter; it just shows that London is so dirty. When we got back from our busy outing, dinner was prepared, my first impression was that I missed my mum’s cooking but I thought to myself I’m not just here for the experience I am also here for the culture of Germany and its food. I am looking forward to starting my work placement tomorrow, hopefully I will learn a lot from it. Another bonus is that I love the HOT weather such a shame for you back home!
