Yeah it’s Saturday and we’ve still got two more weeks to go. Today we woke up a little bit later than usual. Everyone quickly ran downstairs because for breakfast we had brunch and a lovely chocolate pudding. After breakfast we put on our coats and hats and we went to the film museum: ‘Museum Fur Film und Fernsehen’.
I didn’t really want to go because I don’t like museums and I find them boring. However this museum was very interesting. The first thing that caught my eyes was the size of it. We had to pay 4.50 Euros for entrance, but it was worth it. The funny thing was that security had to check our tickets every time we entered the next room.
The first room was made of mirrors. It was really strange being there because I could see myself everywhere. All the rooms were big and modern. Also Doug told us some facts about Hitler and German cinema.
After that we went shopping. It felt like Christmas because we were walking through a Christmas market. Also there was a big Christmas tree in the middle of the shopping centre. We met up with Tom [our guide] and we went to a Thai restaurant. The food was very good and cheap
