Today we woke up late and no one had time to get ready. Everyone was tired and ill, however we had to get up from our beds and go to the conference room to have a group meeting. We were still wearing our pyjamas but we had to decide what we wanted to do this afternoon. Doug said that we should go to Andy Warhol's exhibition in "Hamburger Bahnhof" because it's very good, so we decided that we would go and check it out.
As we look like under 16s we didn't have to pay for tickets however Doug did (ha-ha). Once again Doug was telling us about Andy Warhol's life and his work. I couldn't believe that he knows all this stuff. Andy Warhol thought that he was ugly and he always wanted to be someone else. We've seen photos of him dressed up as a woman and this shows us that he didn't like the way he looked. I think that his work is very interesting and I like the way he used colours. The drawing of Marilyn Monroe was very impressive and eye catching. Also I liked the little shop with souvenirs because all the little things in the shop reminded me about Andy Warhol. On the other hand there was some work of Joseph Beuys. I didn't like it and I don't find it interesting because it was all just lumps of metal.
