Today we had an early start at 8:00am as we had to head back to Leipzig for a lovely day out to Leipzig Messe, the Exhibition centre. I woke up at 7:00am because I did not want to be late for breakfast!
The weather was not great as usual – at least England has something in common with Germany. We had a lovely time at the Exhibition centre except for the slight rain and my cold that was getting worse throughout the jolly day.
We had quite a productive day at Leipzig Messe we filmed the shapes of the buildings, which have quite an unusal structure. The buildings in general are different to the buildings you see in London. They are quite creative and decorative and many have artistic paintings on them, which make them more interesting to look at.
After this productive day we went to have a bit of fun in Leipzig shopping centre. When we arrived there, Doug decided that we should go for a coffee again, yikes! Not for me, I like Heisse Schokolade which means hot chocolate of course, my favourite mmmh yummy!
After this quick break or shall I say rather long coffee break, we were free to go shop in Leipzig’s lovely shopping centre – and yes indeed it was! I found a really great shop which I bought trousers from, a fashionable pinstriped pair.
As that was it for the day we headed back to the little village called Naunhof as we were tired. Almost everyone went for a nap for an hour and a half except for Doug he was working away as usual on his laptop. He is quite a workaholic isn’t he!!
